This subway station in Dortmund's district Barop is partially underground. Single wire mesh elements made from W.S. Tyler Architectural Mesh were installed to cover several concrete columns.

Description

The contrast between the orange wall behind the installation is particularly interesting. When looking directly at the mesh, it appears almost completely transparent. With an angular view, the mesh appears dense and the orange wall becomes invisible.
