Lichtburg Essen – Atrium

Description

The architect’s goal was to breathe new life into the courtyard of the Lichtburg in Essen while avoiding expensive construction costs.

W.S. Tyler fulfilled this request by using the traditional mounting system of a flat tension profile and clevis screws.

Pressure springs are added to the bottom mounting point to absorb the varying length caused by temperature variations.
